V.E.T. was founded by Vicki Garcia, CEO of Marketing Impressions and Barbara Eldridge, Founder of Mind Masters in early 2014.  After working with small business owners for nearly 30 years each, these two dynamic women understood that business ownership could be an exciting alternative to the frustrating job hunt.

VICTORIA “Vicki” GARCIA                            

Victoria Garcia is President of Marketing Impressions, a public relations, graphic design, and advertising agency with expertise in off line marketing and digital marketing for small businesses and entrepreneurs.  Started in 1986, her company has assisted thousands of clients to increase their visibility in the marketplace and gain new customers.  Working with many retailers, service businesses and manufacturers has led to a wealth of experience and creativity which Victoria shares with her clients.
Ms. Garcia, awarded charter membership in Who’s Who Among San Diego Women in 1982, has a BS from Florida State University and holds a Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Victoria has a long history of work on various non-profit boards of directors starting with the Battered Women’s Coalition in 1977, which established the first domestic violence shelter in San Diego.   She is currently President of San Diego Women, Inc. and sits on the Board of Directors of the Greater San Diego Business Association.
In 2005 Vicki was nominated for the Women Who Mean Business Award by the San Diego Business Journal and won a “Bravo” award from the National Association of Women Business Owners, having been nominated by TEC InternationalMany business owners know Victoria as an informative and entertaining speaker due to her 22-year history as a speaker for the U.S. SBA/SCORE.  Her monthly classes on marketing, public relations, graphic design and marketing trends are among the most popular classes SCORE offers.  She has been an in-demand speaker to a wide variety of groups including The San Diego Chamber of Commerce, The SBA/City of San Diego’s annual Small Business Conference, many local colleges and numerous others.



For more than twenty-five years Barbara Eldridge has been contributing to other people’s business success.  Her experience in the corporate arena provided her the knowledge, insight and presence to help thousands of entrepreneurial men and women nurture their business ventures into thriving successes.
Barbara founded MindMasters, an organization for entrepreneurs to master the challenges they face in an ever-changing market place.  For 10 years MandMasters has provided entrepreneurs a value based program for making wise business decisions.  In 2005 Barbara was nominated for the Women Who Mean Business Award by the San Diego Business Journal.   Understanding that values provide the foundation for vision, mission an goals member business owners stay focused to their high priority, high pay-off areas.  As MindMasters they develop clear value-based plans, which insures that their expanding growth and success cannot be diverted.
Working with entrepreneurs who are honest, passionate, and willing to be held accountable, Barbara has created an encouraging environment for learning new ideas, and voicing goals that push beyond the status quo.  To quote one of her members. “Barbara is compassionate when you are hurting, a taskmaster when you are wavering, a hard-liner when she knows you can do it, and always focused when you are not.”  Values are the foundation, consistency is the tool that keep both Barbara Eldridge and MindMasters influencing and expanding success in herself and others.
